This is what to avoid in winter hand care!

In winter, the skin requires intensive regeneration and moisturisation, as it is particularly exposed to wind, frost or dry air, which consequently leads to excessive dryness, roughness and even cracking. In such conditions, simply applying cream is not enough to keep it in good condition.

During the winter season, the skin on the hands often becomes dry and chapped for several reasons:

-Low temperatures and wind: Exposure to cold air weakens the skin's natural protective barrier, which promotes dryness.

-Dry indoor air: Heating lowers the humidity of the air, which negatively affects skin hydration.

- Frequent hand washing: Using soaps and disinfectants can remove natural oils from the skin, leading to dryness.

To prevent irritation, it is helpful to know what to avoid:

1. hot water - washing hands in water that is too hot removes the skin's natural protective layer, leading to dryness. Choose lukewarm water 💦.

2. alcohol-based products - often the use of alcohol-based products can further dry out the skin ✋🏻

3. lack of protection - not wearing gloves is a simple way to chapped hands 🧤.

4. lack of UV protection - winter UV rays also affect the skin, so use sunscreen all year round ☀️

REMEMBER: Regular moisturising, gentle care with natural cosmetics and protection from harmful external factors are the key to beautiful and healthy hands.
