To illustrate Warsaw's stylistic diversity, the authors chose the form of a collage. Their Warsaw is multifaceted, drawing on history, but also inspired by the changing reality. This project emphasises the mission handy lab. - not only providing innovative care products, but also actively supporting education, the arts and the development of young talent.

handy lab. Since its inception, it has focused not only on an innovative approach to care, but also on packaging design and supporting creative people who bring a fresh perspective to the product. On the hand mask packaging, which has been around for three years now handy lab. already found small works of art - these are drawings Monica Libelula, a Polish painter whose hand-sketched hands adorn product packaging.
By working with USWPS students, the brand not only realises its artistic values, but also enables young designers to gain experience working on real projects during their studies and enables them to leave university with an output for the commercial market. The brand believes that investing in young designers is not only an opportunity to create unique packaging, but also a real chance for young people to develop their careers. By participating in the project, students gain not only experience, but also the opportunity to see their work very widely, including on the shop shelves of one of the largest drugstore chains in Poland.
"This is a special moment for us - not only are we launching new products, but we are also pursuing our philosophy of supporting young talent. Working with students is a very inspiring experience for me. Students at SWPS University had the choice of interpreting the theme around Emotions or Fashion Capitals of the World. They put a huge amount of commitment into the task and the results of their work exceeded our expectations. It was extremely difficult to choose the two final designs, as each carried a unique artistic value and interpretation of the theme. The packaging of the new masks is the result of our work together over several months, their passion and creativity in design. I would like to thank the USWPS for their commitment and trust, and I would like to invite you to an exhibition of these extraordinary works, which is on display throughout March 2025 in the VARSO TOWER building in Warsaw,' says Iwona Wójcik, founder of the handy lab.
"Project carried out in collaboration with a cosmetics brand handy lab. is a good example of combining design education and professional practice. As part of it, students had the opportunity to design packaging for new hand masks.I am proud of the students for successfully interpreting the topics proposed by the handy lab in class and not being afraid to propose bold solutions. Working on a real brief was a valuable experience, during which we learned not only how to research the client's needs, but also how to convince them of the designs developed. Combining our own inspirations with market requirements was an important lesson in working in the design industry. I think those studying took away a lot of valuable tips from it." - underlines Bartosz Grześkowiak, graphic designer, lecturer at the School of Form, SWPS University.
During the exhibition in VARSO TOWERzapresented not only the winning designs, but also those created by the other groups taking part in the classes. As part of the theme Fashion Capitals of the World, in addition to Warsaw (in two different interpretations), the USWPS School of Form students were also inspired by Tokyo and London. The groups working with the theme 'Emotions' focused on the sense of touch and the emotions associated with it. So it will be about proximity, but also about touch as a way of learning about the world, for example by people who use Braille.
