The nail trends for spring and summer 2024 once again favour minimalism, but this time in a more colourful way. The colour palette is no longer limited to nude shades - more striking colours are also on trend, but with a classic and elegant look. You can achieve this effect if you give your tile a shorter, regular shape and pay attention to hand care.  

Last year, nail styling was completely dominated by the quiet luxury trend. Manicures were designed to 'fake' the look of a natural, healthy plate with a glossy shine. The length and shape of the nails were also subordinated to comfort and minimalism - the most popular shape was the squoval, which is a slightly rounded rectangle barely extending beyond the fingertips.

Red is the leading colour in this year's manicure trends. Particularly sought-after is the retro style, with a subtle orangish undertone. Such nails were worn by style icons of the past, including Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana. The red colour goes beautifully with gold and silver jewellery.
